Egg free baking can be tricky as eggs help to bind as well as act as a raising agents. There are some things that are very difficult to make egg free (vegan yorkshire puddings I’m looking at you) but there are a lot of good ways of replacing eggs in day to day life.
The egg replacer we use in baking and to make meringues is Orgran Egg Replacer. It makes doing meringues simple and is a good option when recipes call for egg replacers in baking.
Plamil Vegan mayonnaise is our favorite due to its taste and consistency. We find some vegan mayonnaise get a bit watery.
Vegenaise is also a good option and you can get it easily in Sainsbury’s.
The newish types of egg replacer like Vegan Egg make great scrambled eggs and omelettes so it’s now possible to have scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast!
